Terms of Service
Effective date: April 27, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Luxpiq website (luxpiq.com) and the photo booth rental services provided by Luxpiq ("Luxpiq," "we," "us," or "our"), based in Weston, Florida. By requesting a quote, submitting a booking deposit, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms are not a substitute for legal advice. Please read them carefully before booking.
1. Services
Luxpiq provides luxury photo booth rental services for private and corporate events in South Florida (Miami-Dade and Broward County). Services include delivery, setup, operation of the photo booth equipment, custom photo template design, digital gallery delivery, and (for Premium package bookings) a dedicated on-site attendant.
Luxpiq provides one booth model: a self-serve all-white photo booth with touchscreen interface, GIF and boomerang capability, instant print delivery (Classic and Premium), and AirDrop/text/email sharing. We do not provide 360 booths, mirror booths, or glam booths.
2. Booking and Payment
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total package price is required to confirm your booking and hold your event date. Your date is not reserved until the deposit is received. Luxpiq operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
Balance
The remaining 70% balance is due on or before the day of the event, prior to setup. Luxpiq reserves the right to withhold setup until the balance is paid in full.
Corporate clients
Corporate clients requiring advance invoicing, purchase orders, or vendor registration should contact us at hey@luxpiq.com prior to booking. Special payment arrangements may be made on a case-by-case basis.
Pricing
All prices are in U.S. dollars. Quoted prices are valid for 30 days from the date of the quote. Luxpiq reserves the right to adjust pricing for bookings made after a quote has expired.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Cancellation by client
- More than 30 days before the event: The deposit is forfeited; no additional charges apply.
- 14–30 days before the event: The deposit is forfeited and 50% of the remaining balance is due.
- Less than 14 days before the event: The full package price is due.
Rescheduling by client
You may request to reschedule your event date subject to Luxpiq's availability. One complimentary reschedule is permitted with at least 14 days' notice. Rescheduling requests made with less than 14 days' notice are subject to a $150 rescheduling fee and availability.
Cancellation by Luxpiq
In the unlikely event that Luxpiq must cancel your booking due to equipment failure, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control, we will provide a full refund of all amounts paid, including the deposit. This constitutes our entire liability to you in the event of a cancellation by Luxpiq.
4. Setup Requirements
The client is responsible for ensuring the following conditions are met at the event venue prior to Luxpiq's arrival:
- Space: A minimum cleared area of 8 ft × 8 ft (approximately 2.4 m × 2.4 m) for the booth and immediate guest area.
- Power: Access to a standard 110V / 15A electrical outlet within 25 ft of the booth location.
- Surface: A level, stable floor surface. Outdoor setups must be in a covered or shaded area protected from direct rainfall.
- Access: Clear access for equipment load-in and load-out, including elevator access if required at multi-floor venues.
If the venue does not meet these requirements and setup is not possible upon arrival, the booking is treated as a client cancellation within 14 days and the full package price is due. Luxpiq will make reasonable efforts to notify the client and identify a solution before treating the booking as cancelled.
Luxpiq will coordinate directly with the venue coordinator or event planner regarding load-in time, booth placement, and setup logistics.
5. Service Area
Luxpiq's standard service area covers Miami-Dade and Broward County, Florida, within approximately 35 miles of Weston, FL. Events outside this radius may be accommodated subject to a travel fee, quoted at the time of booking.
6. Custom Template and Intellectual Property
Every booking includes a custom digital photo template designed by Luxpiq. The client grants Luxpiq the right to use submitted logos, branding, and design elements solely for the purpose of creating the event template. Luxpiq retains ownership of its design work, layouts, and booth software.
The client owns the photos taken at their event. Luxpiq may use event photos and booth images for marketing purposes (website, social media, portfolio) unless the client requests otherwise in writing prior to the event.
7. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:
- Ensure guests treat the booth and equipment with reasonable care. The client is liable for any damage to Luxpiq equipment caused by guests or event staff.
- Not allow food, beverages, or open flames near the booth equipment.
- Provide accurate event information (date, time, venue, guest count) at the time of booking. Changes must be communicated as early as possible.
- Ensure venue permits and any required vendor approvals are in place prior to Luxpiq's arrival.
8. Limitation of Liability
Luxpiq's total liability to the client for any claim arising from or related to the services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.
Luxpiq is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of enjoyment, or reputational harm.
Luxpiq is not liable for delays, failures, or interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, power outages, acts of God, venue-related issues, or public health emergencies (force majeure).
9. Equipment Malfunction
In the event of equipment malfunction during your event, Luxpiq will make all reasonable efforts to restore service as quickly as possible. If a malfunction results in a significant loss of booth time (more than 30 minutes of the contracted service period), Luxpiq will offer a partial credit toward a future booking, prorated to the time lost. Equipment malfunction does not entitle the client to a full refund.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida.
11. Changes to These Terms
Luxpiq reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting to this page with a revised effective date. Bookings made prior to a change in Terms are governed by the Terms in effect at the time of deposit.
